The officer Candidate of Al-Azhar bin Zahir Al-Zakwani from the Royal Army of Oman won the Sword of Honor from “The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst” United Kingdom, after receiving the first position and superiority over a group of officers of internationals candidates with the participation of 28 countries.
The ceremony of handing him a sword of honor took place during the graduation ceremony held by the Academy today under the patronage of His Excellency Ben Wallace, British Defense Secretary, and in the presence of a limited number of leaders, invitees, and parents of the graduate students.
The ceremony was also attended from the Omani side, the military attaché at the Sultanate’s embassy in London, in compliance with the precautionary measures taken due to the emerging corona virus pandemic.
