Royal Guard of Oman celebrates passing out of Military Music Batches

Muscat: The Royal Guard of Oman (RGO) today celebrated the graduation of a number of military music batches

The Royal Guard of Oman also marked the passing out of the joint musical troupe that combined the Royal Cavalry band and the Royal Camel-Mounted band at the Royal Court Affairs, as well as the scout music band of the General Directorate of Scouts and Guides.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Major General Salim Ali Al Hosni, Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman.

The ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Royal Guard of Oman, began with a briefing on the theoretical and practical application stages of the training courses, which aimed to provide the musicians with necessary knowledge and skills. The briefing also reviewed the role of the Royal Guard of Oman School of Military Music in refining and enhancing the skills of musicians through various training courses implemented by the school.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Major General Al Hosni handed over awards of appreciation to the top students and distributed graduation certificates. The occasion was attended by a number of senior officers, officers and a number of members of the Royal Guard of Oman.
