Royal Navy of Oman receives new batch of citizens

Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman, in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, received today a batch of citizens holding a general diploma to begin military training after they passed the stages of acceptance, evaluation, tests, and medical and physical examinations that were conducted for them.

This comes as a continuation of the national efforts of the Sultan’s Armed Forces to absorb national competencies, as those who meet the recruitment requirements will join the military training program to be nominated officers in the Royal Navy of Oman.

The Royal Navy of Oman has harnessed all its expertise and capabilities in terms of specialized manpower and administrative and health requirements, in order to provide the appropriate environment to achieve the speedy implementation of procedures for joining military service and joining the fields of national duty.

These efforts are undertaken by the Sultan’s Armed Forces to accommodate the people of the nation in accordance with plans and programmes. Established to recruit national competencies into the arms of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence; To contribute to the service of this proud nation and its redeemed leader, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq the Great, the Supreme Commander, may God protect and preserve him.
