Royal Navy of Oman rescues four stranded in fishing boat

Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) managed to rescue four citizen stranded in fishing boat in Muscat.

In a statement Ministry of Defence (MoD) said: “One of the ships of the Royal Navy of Oman carried out a rescue operation for an Omani fishing boat with four citizens on board, after receiving a report that the boat had suffered a technical malfunction at sea in the northeast of the Muscat marine area. The situation was dealt with and the boat was towed to the fishing port in the Wilayat of Barka in the Al Batinah South Governorate , in coordination with the Coast Guard Police of the Royal Oman Police.

This comes within the framework of the national services and humanitarian efforts provided by the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defense to citizens and residents of this dear country, along with other government institutions.”
