Royal Office Minister Receives Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council Nikolai Patrushev

Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office received in his office today Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting came within the framework of the attention accorded by the Sultanate of Oman to recent regional and international issues.

Gen. Al Nu’amani underscored the depth of bilateral relations and their development in various areas of interest.

For his part, Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia expressed his appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s stances regarding regional and international issues, as well as Oman’s active roles in tackling these issues.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the march of relations between Oman and Russia in various fields and means of promoting them to achieve joint interests. They also discussed several matters of mutual concern.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Sultanate of Oman. – ONA
