Royal Office Minister Receives Syrian Ambassador

Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office, received in his office today Dr. Bassam Al-Khatib, Ambassador of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic to the Sultanate of Oman, to bid farewell on the occasion of the end of his duties as ambassador to his country.

His Excellency Lieutenant-General of the Royal Office welcomed the Ambassador, who expressed his pride and appreciation for the cooperation he received from all officials in the Sultanate of Oman, praising the strength of the historical bilateral relations linking the two brotherly countries.

His Excellency also thanked the Ambassador for the efforts he made to strengthen and develop the existing relations between the two brotherly countries during his tenure, wishing him continued success.
