Royal Office Minister receives US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs

Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, received at this office today Barbara Leaf, US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, and her accompanying delegation.

The Royal Office Minister welcomed the guest, who expressed her thanks to the Sultanate of Oman and the steps taken to enhance cooperation between the United States.

The meeting dealt with issues on the regional and international arenas and various matters of common concern. It also discussed the deep-rooted relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United States of America. It looked into measures to develop bilateral relations in a manner that achieves the common interests of both countries. – ONA
