The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has found objects similar to very old projectiles in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. It urged people not to deal directly with any suspicious objects and not to possess them or take them to their place of residence.
ROP revealed that objects similar to very old projectiles were found in one of the mountainous areas far from the population centers, which was used as a military exercise area in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. The area was secured and the safe handling of suspicious objects was completed by the explosive ordnance disposal Team.
The ROP calls upon citizens and residents not to deal directly with any suspicious objects and not to possess them or take them to their place of residence in order to preserve public safety and the need to immediately report them if they are found.
