Royal Oman Police, Interpol Explore Means of Boosting Cooperation

Muscat: Maj. Gen Abdullah Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations received today Maj. Gen Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, President of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) and his accompanying delegation.

The two sides discussed ways of enhancing cooperation. They also exchanged views and experiences between the Royal Oman Police (ROP) and the Interpol.

The guest and his accompanying delegation also visited the ROP’s General Department of Criminal Investigation. During the visit they were briefed on the work mechanisms followed by the National Central Bureau “Interpol Muscat” and its role in collecting, analyzing and publishing data on criminal crimes at the level of member states.  – ONA
