Royal Oman Police launches three new electronic service system

Ibri: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Wednesday launches three new electronic services.

The Traffic Safety Institute in Ibri in the Al Dhahirah Governorate inaugurated today the system of traffic safety institutes in the various governorates of the Sultanate and activated three electronic services related to the traffic aspect, namely the electronic drivers’ examination system, the e-driving license service, and the electronic vehicle license service, according to plans The Royal Oman Police and its long-term strategy to develop and improve the work and electronic services it provides to the community.

The opening ceremony was announced by His Excellency Lieutenant General Hassan bin Mohsen Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, as part of the celebration of the Royal Oman Police Day.

This system was built according to electronic work procedures that start with submitting an application to apply for a driver’s license, book appointments electronically, perform theoretical tests electronically, and move to the stage of advanced simulation devices that use augmented reality technology.

The issuance of driving licenses and electronic vehicle registration,

After logging into the ROP application and confirming his identity, the user can extract a copy of the driving license as well as copies of vehicle registration licenses registered in his name, and he can keep copies of them on his own device for use when needed.

This service also provides the ability to add other electronic documents to create an integrated electronic file that includes all the user’s documents. The user can also print copies of his documents directly through his own phone .
