S Batinah Governor signs agreement on digital transformation services

Rustaq: The Office of the Governor of South Al Batinah today signed an agreement with Takatuf Oman Company, with the aim of providing advisory services in digital transformation.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Sheikh Saif bin Humair Al Shehhi, Governor of South Al Batinah, and Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Harthy, CEO of Takatuf Oman, as the agreement states that the company will be the consultant and supervisor to support and follow up the implementation of digital transformation projects for government institutions in the governorate.

His Excellency Sheikh Saif bin Humair Al Shehhi, Governor of South Al Batinah, said: Through the agreement, the governorate seeks to keep pace with digital transformation programs in accordance with Oman Vision 2040, raise the productivity and efficiency of the technical sector and provide advanced electronic services in the municipal work and other sectors in line with the terms of reference assigned to the governorate.

For his part, Dr. Qasim bin Muhammad Al Maamari, Project Manager at Takatuf Oman, said: The agreement came to support digital transformation projects in the Al Batinah South Governorate, by providing advisory services for developing the digital infrastructure of the institutions affiliated to the Governor’s Office and transforming the services provided into electronic services.
