    • Salalah Free Zone signs two agreements to establish a factory for production of caustic soda, hydrogen peroxide

    Muscat: The Salalah Free Zone signed an usufruct agreement to establish a factory for the production of caustic soda, calcium chloride, and ammonia chloride, that are used in various industries, such as paper, glass, detergents, and agricultural fertilizers, with a total investment value of  USD 65 million, on a total area of ​​approximately 55,000 square meters.

    Moreover, an usufruct agreement was also signed between the Salalah Free Zone and a Turkish investment to establish a factory for the production of hydrogen peroxide and formic acid, with an investment of  $100 million, on an area of exceeding 174,000 square meters.
