Salalah: The Salalah International Chess Championship, organized by the Omani Chess Committee in cooperation with the Omani Telecommunications Company “Omantel”, concludes at the Sultan Qaboos Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah, with the participation of 46 players representing the Sultanate of Oman, Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, India and the Philippines, and lasted for five days.
Musa bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Director General of the General Directorate of Culture, Sports and Youth in Dhofar Governorate sponsored the closing ceremony.
The player Shaurya was crowned with the first place, and the player Salem bin Muhammad Al-Amri came in the second place, and at the level of his 12-year category, the player Darshan Rah Mohin won the first place, and at the level of his category of 16 years, the player Atriv Bansal won the first place.
The player Amin bin Hassan Al-Ansi won the best Omani player, and the player Salem bin Ali Al-Mashaikhi won the second best Omani player.
