Salalah market witnesses active purchasing movement ahead of Eid Al-Adha

Salalah: Shops and commercial centers in the Wilayat of Salalah in the Dhofar Governorate are witnessing an active purchasing movement ahead of the blessed Eid Al-Adha.

The people in the state of Salalah and the rest of the governorate’s states are keen to buy Eid needs early from the multiple markets in the state, and they include clothes, foodstuffs, and various traditional foods that are served at the Eid tables, in addition to preparing the requirements for local meals that are cooked from sacrificial meat.

Shops selling traditional food, such as Omani sweets, and traditional restaurants that prepare the meal “Al Ma’jeen” and the local bread “Qalb”, witnessed a great demand from consumers, as it is considered one of the main foods for many families in the governorate during the Eid days.

Shops selling perfumes, incense, sweets, nuts, and ready-made clothes are also witnessing an active commercial activity, in addition to men’s and women’s sewing shops, and markets selling livestock, vegetables, and fruits, in preparation for Eid.

It should be noted that the various markets in the states and governorates of the Sultanate of Oman are witnessing a wide turnout by consumers during this period, in preparation for the blessed Eid Al-Adha.
