Muscat: Salalah Mills acquires 50% shares of Al-Rayyan Grain Mills and Silos company and its assets in the Repblic of Yemen.
In a disclosure to Muscat Stock Exchange the Company said: “Salalah Mills Company SAOG would like to inform the capital market, the Muscat Stock Exchange and the investor community as follows:-
Following the previous disclosure dated August 10, 2023, regarding the study of investment opportunities in the Republic of Yemen and based on the legal and financial study:
On 10, January 2024 Salalah Mills Company signed an agreement to enter into a partnership by acquiring 50% of the shares of Al-Rayyan Grain Mills and Silos Company and its assets in the Republic of Yemen – Hadhramaut Governorate, the city of Mukalla, with an investment estimated at approximately (2.5 million Omani Riyals), two million Omani Riyals and five hundred thousand only.”
