Salalah Port receives cruise ship “AMERA” with 1082 passengers
In a statement ONA said: Salalah Port today received the cruise ship “Amera” with 1,082 passengers on board, of them 696 are tourists from various nationalities.
The tourist programme of “Amera” included tours to major archaeological, tourism and historic landmarks in the Governorate of Dhofar, besides visiting beaches and traditional markets in Salalah.
Moreover, the Sultanate of Oman is visited annually by a number of cruise ships due to the country’s prominent location overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and Sea of Oman.
