    Muscat: The Ministry of Finance announces five companies qualified to compete in the Design, Construction, Finance, Operation and Maintenance of Salalah-Thumrait Truck Road under Public Private Partnership Agreement.

    Construction of Salalah-Thumrait Truck Road (STTR) under under Public Private Partnership Agreement. The Salalah-Thumrait Truck Road is 67-km road, the first of its kind in Oman, specifically designed for heavy vehicles.

    8 Companies for Qualification

    5 Companies Qualified Bidders 

    The qualified companies are: 

    VINCI Highways,  

    STRABAG Motorway GmbH , 

    China Communications, Construction Company Limited, Plenary Middle East Limited (alliance with international companies)and 

    Bouygues Travaux Publics SAS (alliance with a local company)
