SalamAir launches its inaugural flight from Bahrain to Salalah
Salalah: The Sultanate of Oman’s budget carrier SalamAir began operating its first direct flights between Bahrain International Airport and Salalah Airport, at a rate of two flights per week, on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
The schedule provides travel options for those interested in visiting the Dhofar governorate during the Khareef (monsoon) season 2023.
Captain Mohammed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir, expressed his delight at operating the direct flights which, he said, would boost commercial and tourism relations between Oman and Bahrain.
In a press statement, Captain Mohammed Ahmed pointed out that the direct flights will provide a smooth travel experience for travellers from Bahrain wishing to make the best of their summer break in Dhofar, known for the diversity of its hotels and facilities.
SalamAir operates flights to as many as 39 local, regional and international destinations.
