131,000 Transactions Recorded by Sanad Centers Across Oman

Muscat:  Sanad Service Centers completed more than 131,000 transactions through their electronic portal during the first quarter of 2026, reflecting improved performance efficiency and continued trust in the services provided.

These results come as part of ongoing efforts to simplify procedures for citizens, entrepreneurs, and investors through a network of 922 centers across the Sultanate of Oman. The centers have also contributed to providing 2,264 job opportunities and are operated by Omani entrepreneurs within the small and medium enterprises sector, offering a wide range of e-government services.

Mohammed bin Salem Al-Mashaikhi, Director of the Sanad Service Centers Department at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, said that these indicators highlight the role of the centers in supporting service development, empowering SMEs, and improving user experience.

He added that the Ministry continues to implement training and qualification programs to enhance the capabilities of national cadres working in the centers. During the first quarter of 2026, around 815 trainees participated in programs focused on service delivery skills and communication with beneficiaries, contributing to faster transactions and higher satisfaction levels.

Al-Mashaikhi noted that 213 field visits were conducted during the same period to monitor performance, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain service quality.

He affirmed that the Ministry is working to expand the range of services provided through Sanad Centers in coordination with government and private entities, in line with digital transformation goals.

He explained that several meetings were held with relevant entities to introduce new services and activate technical integration, aiming to improve efficiency and broaden service offerings.

Sanad Service Centers continue to support the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 by facilitating access to services, creating employment opportunities, and strengthening the role of SMEs in the digital economy.
