    • Scattered thunderstorm expected in parts of Oman

    Muscat: Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas may witness scattered thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and hail.

    In a statement Oman Meteorology said: The formation of Cumulative clouds on the Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas and their extension towards the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman with chances of thundershowers accompanied by active winds and hail occasionally during the upcoming time, with chances of rain clouds extending towards the coasts of the Sea of Oman.

    Oman Meteorology warns of the possibility of flying unstable objects and low horizontal visibility during thunderstorms.
