Ibri: Civil teams in the town of Kahnat in the Wilayat of Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate organized this evening the second edition of the Kahnat Heritage Festival for horse and camel show. Knights from various wilayats of Al Dhahirah Governorate participated in the activities of the festival, representing different stations in the wilayats of Ibri, Yanqul and Dhank, out of preserving the popular heritage. And encouraging those interested in this sport to highlight their skills in riding horses and camels, as the number of participating camels reached 127, while the number of participating horses was 42 horses.
The event began with the entry of camel owners through a camel show and a display of camel riding arts for different age groups, after which the horses began to participate through the horse humbel art, which coincides with the chanting of poetic verses, after which the participants reviewed various horse riding arts. The festival activities also included reciting poems and folk dances Spirituality and the art of Al-Aziz.
