Shinas: The activities of the second edition of the Shinas Heritage Festival were concluded today at the camel racing field in the Wilayat of Shinas in the Governorate of North Al Batinah, under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Firas bin Fatik Al Said, in the presence and participation of a number of camel owners from various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
The closing ceremony of the festival, which lasted four days, included a number of main events, including the Al-Ardah camel procession and the Al-Fatamin category. His Highness, the patron of the occasion, visited the heritage village, which included a number of elements and exhibits of the marine, agricultural and Bedouin environments that Shinas is famous for, in addition to an exhibition Productive families and their various products.
The closing ceremony also included a horse show, presented by a number of riders from the Shinas Equestrian Committee, in addition to artistic and lyrical paintings of folklore.
In conclusion, His Highness, the patron of the occasion, handed over the prizes to those who won first places in the Al-Fatamin and Al-Mazayana rounds, in addition to honoring the participating and cooperating institutions in the success of the festival’s activities.
