Seminar Held on Education from 1970-2022 in Oman’s Al Hamra

Al Hamra: A seminar on education in the Wilayat of Al Hamra during the period from 1970 to 2022 was held today at Al Hamra Wali’s office.

The seminar, organized by Sheikh Muhsin bin Zahran Al Abri Bookstore, was held under the patronage of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

The seminar included two sessions. The working papers presented during the first session covered several topics, such as educational facilities, school names in the Wialyat and the dates of their establishment, educational systems, curricula and assessment of students’ learning.

Meanwhile, the working papers of the second session touched on administrative and teaching bodies, community contributions and student care.

An exhibition on educational curricula from 1970 to 2022 was held on the sidelines of the seminar. Moreover, at the conclusion of the event, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation felicitated participants and supporting entities. -ONA
