New tenders announced for Oman’s 52nd National Day decorations

The General Secretariat for National Celebrations announced seven new tenders for the  52nd glorious National Day.

The seven tenders were distributed to the governorates of Muscat and Dhofar; Muscat won four tenders:

  • side decorations
  • tree decorations (1)
  • tree decorations (2)
  • tree decorations (3)

As for the Governorate of Dhofar, it won three tenders:

  • side decorations
  • tree decorations (1)
  • tree decorations (2)

The General Secretariat for National Celebrations set August 8 as the last date for submitting bids for the seven tenders.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, had directed, while presiding over the cabinet meeting in March 2020, that November 18 is a national day for renaissance that the Sultanate of Oman celebrates every year.

The Glorious National Day holiday (November 18 and 19) came in the first article of Royal Decree No. 56/2020, which determines the days of official holidays. Where the date may be modified if the public interest so requires.
