South Al Batinah Celebrates Graduation of Seventh Cohort from Teacher Training Programmes

A’Rustaq: The Directorate General of Education in South Al Batinah Governorate today celebrated the graduation of the seventh cohort of trainees from the strategic programmes of the Specialized Institute for Professional Training of Teachers, comprising 771 male and female graduates.

The ceremony marks the successful completion of a comprehensive professional training journey that included several strategic programmes, namely School Leadership, Educational Supervision Experts, Senior Teachers, Subject Matter Experts, and the New Teachers Programme.

These programmes aim to achieve a qualitative shift in educational practices by enhancing professional competencies, developing leadership and supervisory skills, and equipping educators with modern teaching methodologies that align with the evolving needs of the educational system.

The Specialized Institute for Professional Training of Teachers plays a pivotal role in supporting the Ministry of Education’s vision to build qualified educational cadres capable of driving continuous improvement in school performance, strengthening institutional effectiveness, and contributing to the sustainability and quality of education across the Sultanate of Oman.
