    Muscat: Several expatriates were arrested for violating labour law, the Ministry of Labour (MoL) announced on Monday.

    In a statement Ministry of Labour said: The Office of the Joint Inspection Team in the General Directorate of Labor in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, and in cooperation with the Municipality of Izki, carried out an inspection campaign on labor gatherings and street vendors in the Wilayat of Izki. A number of the workforce were arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labor Law.’

    Legal measures are being taken against them.
