Muscat: Sharakah, Oman’s leading SME development company, recently concluded its 2023 series of the “Calculate it Right” workshop with a final session in Muscat. The workshop, focusing on skill development and entrepreneurship, attracted successful entrepreneurs from the capital and senior undergraduate students specializing in finance, accounting, economics, and business management from various educational institutions.
Throughout 2023, the “Calculate it Right” workshops were held across different Wilayats, including Nizwa, Al Sharqiyah, Sohar, Salalah, Musandam, and finally Muscat. These workshops collectively reached a significant number of 166 participants, guiding them through engaging and educational sessions. The 6 workshops held aimed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with valuable insights for launching their businesses, covering essential topics like realistic sales projections, project costs, operational expenses, resource allocations and requirements, and capital expenditures.
The Muscat workshop was led by Faris Al Harthy – Senior Projects Specialist, and Rawan Al Nazwani. The session covered both basic and advanced aspects of entrepreneurial development, emphasizing practical application for the participants.
Ali Ahmed Muqaibal, CEO of Sharakah, expressed satisfaction with the year’s workshops, noting their comprehensive nature.
