Since it is the holy month of Ramadan, the month of fasting, giving and sharing. Alizz Islamic Bank recently hosted His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim bin Nasser Al Sawafi to conduct a lecture on ‘The Treasures of Ramadhan’ for the employees of the Bank.
The Initiative was part of Manar Alizz, which is the voice of the bank for cultural awareness about Islamic Banking and its principles. The programme aligns with the bank’s overall strategy of knowledge sharing. Alizz Islamic Bank continues to focus on developing and engaging employees through interactive sessions on topics that interest them.
Speaking about the lecture Mr. Issa bin Salim Al Riyami, Head of Shari’a Compliance and Audit of Alizz Islamic Bank said “The lecture that was conducted today by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim bin Nasser Al Sawafi emphasized the spiritual significance of preparing for the holy month and fostering a mindset of gratitude and acceptance during this month. His Eminence bestowed pearls of wisdom that we should emulate in Ramadan. He touched upon the fact that Ramadhan is a manifestation of Allah’s mercy upon us, and a Muslim must reap whatever benefits they can during the month of good deeds and not procrastinate. Each Muslim individual (each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock), must gain insight into the strength of their thoughts and actions on those around them who they support and preside over. Sheikh Ibrahim linked these meanings to our performance as employees in Islamic banks in terms of dedication to work, fulfillment of trust, and the responsibility of working towards the service of people through the products & services provided by the Bank”
