Shinas waterfront project 65% complete, worth OMR 389,000

Muscat: The Municipality of North Al Batinah Governorate continues to implement the ongoing construction of a lavish waterfront project in the Wilayat of Shinas, which is being built over an area of ​​35,250 square meters, worth OMR 389,000, is currently 65 per cent complete.

The waterfront project in the Wilayat of Shinas is one of the projects that serve a large segment of the state’s population and residents.

It is considered an outlet and a park for families and children. The length of the park is 400 meters. The project includes the establishment of multiple facilities, including health facilities, a walkway for bicycles, a walkway for practicing sports, in addition to special spaces for flats. Green areas for children’s games, exercise equipment and a number of outlets.

It is worth noting that the project is located in the northern part of the state, and its establishment comes within the governorates’ development plans. The project will be an important source of tourism in the state, in addition to the Shinas Public Park and the Qurum Natural Park, which opened last year, and which work has been developed to build buildings and rest houses for families and vital facilities.
