Salalah: Salalah Port today received today a cruise ship carrying 779 passengers on baord, including 380 tourists. The cruise ships have tourist programmes to visit many ports around the world.
The tourist programmes of the cruise ship which arrived from Jeddah Islamic Port and heading to Sultan Qaboos Port in the Muscat Governorate – included tours to tourist and archaeological sits in the Governorate of Dhofar, besides visiting beaches and traditional bazaars in the Wilayat of Salalah.
The Sultanate of Oman annually witnesses visits of many cruise ships, due to its sea location overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, and the Sea of Oman.
