Siraj Endowment for Supporting Education Holds First Meeting for this year

Muscat: Siraj, the Endowment Foundation for Supporting Education, today held its first meeting of the year (2023) under the chair of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Marouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

At the outset of the meeting, the minister gave an introductory briefing on Siraj Endowment Foundation and introduced its members of the board’s restructuring.

The meeting discussed the election of the board’s deputy chairperson, the appointment of a chief executive officer (CEO) and the secondment of experienced employees to operate within the foundation. It looked into the allocation of a headquarters for the foundation and reviewed its organizational structure, its strategic plan and its media plan.

The board also studied the foundation’s financial position and its sources of funding. It reviewed the proposed endowment lands with a view to how best these can be invested in favour of Siraj Endowment Foundation’s fund. – ONA
