    • Six arrested in doubling money scam in Oman: ROP

    Muscat: The Royal Oman Police said in its official account, that the Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested six foreigners of African nationalities on charges of defrauding a number of people by claiming to be able to double the money.

    The police stated that they were seized with tools and solutions used in fraud, sums of money from different international currencies and gold bars obtained from the victims, and legal procedures are being completed against the accused.

    The Royal Oman Police stressed the importance of following the legal methods in financial transactions, being wary of fake offers and commercial deals, and not seeking quick profits promoted by fraudsters using suspicious and illogical methods.
