Six expats arrested in Muscat beach for smuggling drugs

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested six expats on a beach in Muscat while they were trying to smuggle over 245 kgs of crystal meth, 37 kgs of hashish and 38,000 pulls psychotropic substances.

In a statement ROP said: The General Administration for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, arrested six people of Asian nationality on a beach in the state of Muscat while they were trying to smuggle more than 245 kilograms of crystal meth, 37 kilograms of hashish, and 38,000 pills of psychotropic substances.
