SME Development Authority organizes meeting for entrepreneurs in North Sharqiyah

Ibra: The Small and Medium Enterprises Authority organizes meeting with entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises in the wilayat of Ibra in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, a with the participation of 123 entrepreneurs from the commercial, economic and industrial sectors in the governorate, in the presence of His Excellency Mahmoud bin Yahya Al Dhahli.

Such as tenders, contracts and procurement to extract the most important solutions and initiatives concerned with enhancing the entrepreneurship environment and supporting small and medium enterprises.

He added that the meeting comes to introduce the strategic directions of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority and review appropriate proposals and recommendations, noting the Authority’s interest in developing, supporting and training Omani youth to promote sustainable development.

The meeting included a review of statistical data for small and medium enterprises and holders of entrepreneurship cards in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, where the number of entrepreneurs in the governorate is 9171 entrepreneurs, including 1929 holders of entrepreneurship cards, and 7242 non-card holders, in addition to introducing the roles and tasks of the centers. The meeting included a discussion session that included several topics, including the initiatives and programs of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, as well as the opinions and proposals of entrepreneurs and the challenges facing the business sector, as well as ideas, initiatives and solutions that contribute to the advancement of the enterprise sector.
