Socca World Cup 2024 Kicks off in Oman tomorrow

Muscat: The Socca World Cup 2024 will kick off tomorrow Friday, 29 November 2024 in the Sultanate of Oman. As many as 40 teams from around the world will participate in the world cup which will be ongoing till 7 December 2024.

The opening ceremony will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Nader bin Al Julanda Al Said at the Sports Makers Stadium of the Oman Automobile Association.

The opening ceremony will be followed by the opening match between our national team and the Italian team.

The teams participating in the tournament were divided into eight groups, each group containing 5 teams competing to reach the final rounds. The first group includes the national team with America, Italy, Canada and Qatar.

The second group includes Germany, Bulgaria, Georgia, Libya and Serbia.

The third group includes Greece, Belgium, Cyprus, Kuwait and Iraq. The fourth group includes Brazil, Egypt, Ireland, Colombia and Iran. The fifth group includes Poland, France, Turkey, Pakistan and Haiti.

The sixth group includes Mexico, Latvia, Albania, Peru and Australia. The seventh group includes Kazakhstan, England, Romania, Uruguay and Sudan. The eighth and final group includes Croatia, Hungary, Argentina, Tunisia and South Africa.
