Sohar: Sohar Port and Free Zone signed a land lease agreement with Allied Ondock Container Services, a Singapore-based subsidiary of Allied Container Group. The agreement aims at providing container storage services at the port by employing advanced logistical solutions within a modern digital environment.
Emile Hoogsteden, CEO of Sohar Port, said: “This agreement constitutes an important addition to the port’s services, as it will enhance its position as an integrated and competitive logistics hub, and facilitate container transportation operations.”
Lim Kian Chin, Owner of Allied Ondock Container Services, said: “The container storage depot in Sohar Port will occupy an area of 3 hectares and will be equipped with the latest heavy cranes and storage machines to handle empty and loaded containers using a method that is in line with environmental requirements.” – ONA
