Sohar Shooting Festival Competition witnesses over 900 participants

Sohar: Wadi Al Awaina Shooting Range in the Wilayat of Sohar in the North Al Batinah Governorate witnessed the Sohar Shooting Festival Competition for the year 2024, with the participation of 945 shooters from various states and governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, organized by the Office of the Governor of North Al Batinah.

The competition was held in five categories: the junior category, in which 60 archers participated, the women’s category, in which 60 archers participated, the senior archers category, in which 75 archers participated, the bowl-dropping category, in which 250 archers participated, and the general category, in which 500 archers participated.

Each category competed to win first places, and the tournament organizing committee allocated in-kind and cash prizes to the winners of the fifteen places for each category of the tournament.

In conclusion, His Excellency Mohammed bin Suleiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah, the sponsor of the occasion, honored the first-place winners in the competition categories, in addition to honoring the members of the judging and organizing committees.
