Sohar: The “Sohar Winter” activities, organized by a number of government institutions and the private sector, began today in the Wilayat of Sohar in the Al Batinah North Governorate, and will continue until February 4.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Muhammad Al Balushi, Deputy Wali of Sohar and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the “Sohar Winter” events, explained that the events are held in the Sohar market and last for two weeks, targeting all segments of society, indicating that the organizing committee has drawn up a schedule of events that includes more than 45 various activities. The committee also seeks, through these events, to introduce Omani productive families in the wilayat, to market them and to introduce their products by setting up their own shopping corners.
