South Al Batinah Endowment organizes number of religious events during Ramadan

Rustaq: The Awqaf Department in the Al Batinah South Governorate organizes during the holy month of Ramadan a number of religious events and activities that cover all the governorate’s wilayats.

Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad al-Siyabi, Director of the Awqaf Department in the Al Batinah South Governorate, said: The administration seeks to enhance religious awareness in society. Through the establishment of a number of various programmes, the number of which during the month of Ramadan this year reaches 1050 works distributed between Friday sermons, lectures and religious lessons.

He added: This year, the administration launched an electronic application entitled “Voices from South Al Batinah”, which includes daily episodes in which Quranic recitations, reading of prophetic remembrances, and short sermons are broadcasted by a number of religious cadres, including preachers and imams, in addition to the organization of the department of introducing Islam and cultural exchange in the administration by a number of Translated lectures after Friday prayers in the various states of Al Batinah South Governorate.

The Director of the Awqaf Department in the Al Batinah South Governorate explained that the Women’s Education and Guidance Center will carry out 1685 religious and awareness activities, and a number of exhibitions and forums that will include various groups of society, including school and university students and members of the local community, indicating that the activities come with 674 activities in the Wilayat of Rustaq. And /160/ activities in the Wilayat of Al-Awabi, and /179/ activities in the Wilayat of Al-Musanna, and /383/ activities in the states of Nakhl and Wadi Al-Ma’awil, and /289/ activities in the Wilayat of Barka.
