South Al Batinah Governorate launches its promotional identity

Al Musannah: South Al Batinah Governorate today launched its new promotional identity with the aim of unifying efforts to enhance the governorate’s image locally and internationally, and highlighting its multiple components that include heritage, culture and nature. The inauguration ceremony was sponsored by His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al-Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning.

His Excellency Eng. Masoud bin Saeed Al Hashimi, Governor of South Al Batinah, said: “The new promotional identity aims to enhance the mental image of the governorate and support the strategic visions for development in line with Oman Vision 2040.

He pointed out that the first step towards this goal began with the launch of the visual identity competition, which witnessed wide interaction from various segments of society inside and outside the governorate. His Excellency explained that the South Al Batinah Governorate is currently working on preparing an integrated strategy that seeks to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development in various sectors.

This strategy focuses on basic axes such as communication, excellence, and diversity, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of services and improving the quality of life for citizens and residents.

His Excellency Eng. Masoud Al Hashemi stressed that this strategy will witness the launch of many ambitious initiatives aimed at developing the infrastructure and enhancing the investment and tourism sectors, making the governorate an attractive environment for investment and tourism.

His Excellency the Governor of South Al Batinah pointed out that the new identity is not just a slogan, but rather represents a new start towards an integrated digital future, as an electronic services portal and a smartphone application will soon be launched, which will contribute to facilitating procedures for citizens and investors and enhancing transparency and integration with government agencies.

A number of digital projects will also be implemented, such as upgrading the network infrastructure and linking government institutions, which will constitute a qualitative shift in public services and enhance the governorate’s position as a pioneer in digital transformation and innovation.

The components of the new identity logo were inspired by the cultural and natural landmarks of South Al Batinah Governorate.The logo consists of six parts representing the six wilayats of the governorate, which come together to express the cohesion and connection between the people of these wilayats.

In addition, the logo indicates the shape of the map of South Al Batinah Governorate, expressing its embrace and harnessing its capabilities for everyone. Hidden circles are incorporated into the design to symbolize cooperation and integration between different sectors of society, reflecting the collective spirit that characterizes the governorate. The arc-like shape in the logo symbolizes the future paths that the governorate is taking to achieve its development goals and ambitious vision.

The primary colors of the governorate represent its rich nature, as green represents the fertile lands and palm trees that characterize the governorate, while blue symbolizes the blue economy of the states overlooking the Sea of ​​Oman. The secondary colors include gradations inspired by mountains, castles and valleys, which enhances the connection of identity to the natural and historical heritage of the governorate.
