South A’Sharqriyah Municipal Council discusses readiness of tourism programs in Sur

Sur: The Municipal Council of the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate reviewed in its meeting the selection of the Wilayat of Sur as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2024 and raising the Wilayat’s readiness by working to organize attractive tourism events and programmes, the importance of the community’s role in enhancing the various efforts made, and the role of the private sector in support tourism projects and activities.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Yahya bin Badr Al-Maawali, Governor of South Al Sharqiyah and Chairman of the Council, discussed the study of various municipal projects in the governorate’s, and the project version of the governorate’s electronic portal, in addition to discussing requests and proposals submitted by members of the municipal council related to the development of the governorate’s.
