SPF organizes second introductory meeting in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate

Ibra: The Social Protection Fund organized its second direct meeting to introduce the benefits of social protection, and the registration mechanism to obtain these benefits as regulated by the Social Protection Law.

The meeting, which was held in Al Amjad Hall in the Wilayat of Ibra, discussed the social protection system, which includes programs and policies that seek to provide protection for individuals and families from the risks of the life cycle from childhood to old age, and talked about the benefits included in the Social Protection Law, which are the benefit of orphans and widows, and the benefit of persons with disabilities.

The family income support benefit, the childhood benefit, and the elderly benefit, and the registration mechanism for obtaining these programs and benefits and the conditions for obtaining them.

Social protection is a comprehensive system and integrated coverage of sustainable community care that keeps pace with the best international practices and experiences.

The system is based on the basic law of the state, national trends, and Oman Vision 2040, which aims to achieve social justice and equality and enhance economic development efforts to achieve the well-being of citizens.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mahmoud bin Yahya Al Dhahli, Governor of North Al Sharqiyah, and a number of officials.
