    • Sultan Qaboos University Applied Analysis Unit Receives ISO Accreditation

    Muscat:  The Applied Analysis Unit at the College of Science of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) has obtained ISO international accreditation for its testing laboratory services.

    The certification was awarded by the GCC Accreditation Centre (GAC).

    The unit provides applied and biological analysis services and supports scientific research through advanced analytical services that contribute to development and innovation within the university and beyond.

    The unit is currently working on upgrading laboratory technologies and enhancing the capabilities of its technical staff to provide reliable services that meet the needs of researchers and beneficiaries.

    The Applied Analysis Unit recently acquired 15 specialized instruments and supporting equipment at a total cost exceeding RO 2 million.
