Sri Lanka announces visa-free entry to Omani nationals from Oct 1

Muscat: Sri Lanka’s government will allow visa-free entry for Omani citizens from Oct. 1, the Adviser to the Ministry of Tourism Harin Fernando was reported as saying on Thursday

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Colombo revealed that the Sri Lankan government has announced visa-free entry for citizens of 35 countries, including the Sultanate of Oman.

The decision will come into effect on October 1, 2024, and will initially last for six months, after which it will be reviewed.
