The program is being implemented through nine specialized workshops.
The inauguration ceremony was held under the auspices of Zahra bint Mohammed Ridha Al Lawati, Deputy Chairperson of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority for Oversight on Bodies, Investments and Companies, in the presence of a number of officials and specialists representing various government entities.
The four-day workshops cover several key themes aimed at enhancing participants’ oversight and auditing capabilities. These include oversight of contracts and procurement, auditing development projects, detecting financial and administrative violations, strengthening internal control and risk management systems, and reviewing institutional experiences in government excellence. The program also addresses governance of economic projects in the governorates and financial analysis.
In addition, the program features specialized sessions on internal audit evidence, focusing on its concept and importance, developing skills related to evidence collection and analysis, and training participants on proper documentation in accordance with approved professional standards.
The organization of the program comes as part of the Authority’s ongoing commitment to raising the efficiency of national competencies, promoting the principles of governance and transparency, and applying best practices in financial and administrative oversight.
The program also seeks to strengthen institutional partnership among participating entities, thereby contributing to improved institutional performance and supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals.
