Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the State Audit Institution (SAI), is taking part in the consultative meeting to develop the strategic plan for the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI). The meeting is being held with the participation of the member bodies, heads of the ARABOSAI’s committees and the representative of the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) in the Saudi Capital Riyadh.
The meeting reviews the outcomes of the analysis for the internal and external surveys related to the strategic plan, the actions taken by the plan’s committee, in addition to presenting the strategic plan of the INTOSAL. The meeting reviewed experience of related regional organization (AFROSAI-E and IDI).
During the meeting, the SAI will present a working paper on the achievements of the Institutional Capacity Development Committee in aspects related to the strategic and operational plan, in addition to training and scientific research activities.
