State Council Economic Committee Finalizes Budget 2022 Blueprint’s review

Muscat (ONA): The State Council’s Economic Committee has rounded up its deliberations about Budget 2022 blueprint, as well as the report of Shura Council on the draft.

The review covered facts and assumptions on which Budget 2022 draft was based, including estimates of revenues and spending.

The committee studied an analysis related to Oman’s financial position after one year since the endorsement of the medium-term Fiscal Balance Plan (2020-2024).

The meeting was chaired by Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Harthi, Chairman of the Economic Committee. The committee decided to submit its report, along with comments, to the Chairman of the State Council in preparation for further discussion during the Council’s upcoming session.
