Sultan Qaboos University Hospital hosts the Minister of Health in a dialogue session

Muscat: Sultan Qaboos University Hospital organized a dialogue session with His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, students of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (internship and final year students), students of the College of Nursing (last year students), and health workers.

The session, entitled “The Health System in the Sultanate of Oman, Reality and Aspiration”, was moderated by Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mahmoud Al Mahrezi, Director General of Sultan Qaboos University Hospital. It touched on many issues related to the health sector system, the reality of health care, and future plans to develop and advance the health system required, and develop solutions and proposals to overcome difficulties and challenges.

His Excellency the Minister of Health said: We have young national competencies in all areas of the health sector, on whom we rely a lot in building this dear country, adding that a forum for health innovation was implemented a while ago, and among the participations were initiatives for students who are still in university seats; It makes us trust the health outputs of the people of the country, who will be counted on tomorrow to contribute to the development and development of this dear country, and we are proud of our national health cadres, and we have the most wonderful examples in the health epic that the people of the health sector carried out in the Covid-19 pandemic.

His Excellency stressed that this stage requires us to activate the role of youth and build bridges of trust for them. Because Omani youth are capable of achieving achievements in various fields, and days have proven this, and their involvement in shaping the future while empowering them will reflect positively on the movement of change, and the accompanying development that is in line with the national strategy.

The session was attended by His Highness Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin Al Julanda, President of Sultan Qaboos University, and a number of officials and academics at Sultan Qaboos University.
