Sultan Qaboos University introduces new programs for the academic year 2021/2022

Muscat: Sultan Qaboos University announced the opening of the door for applying for postgraduate programs for Omanis and non-Omanis for the academic year 2021/2022 from January 26 to next February 28.

Dr. Muhammad bin Nasser Al-Saqri – Dean of Postgraduate Studies at the university said: “The introduction of the new programs that were recently approved by the University Council comes in line with the University’s strategic plan 2040, and it emphasizes the importance of graduate studies programs in promoting the social and economic development of the Sultanate. The university will continue to offer new programs during the next five years, which are in line with Oman Vision 2040 and the National Strategy for Scientific Research and Innovation also to meet the needs of the Omani labor market.

Among these programs are three postgraduate diploma programs, a doctoral program, and master’s programs as follows: Ph.D. Courses and thesis in the College of Engineering for full and partial assignment, in addition to a postgraduate diploma in crop production, a postgraduate diploma in crop protection, and a postgraduate diploma in marine and fishery sciences.
