Sultan’s Armed Forces celebrates the anniversary of Great Battle of Badr at Umm Al Ghawarif Camp Mosque in Dhofar

Muscat: The Sultan’s Armed Forces celebrated this evening on the occasion of the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr. Moral guidance and military ceremonies were organized, headed by the Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, in celebration of the Umm Al-Ghawarif Camp Mosque in Dhofar Governorate, under the auspices of Brigadier General Hamed bin Abdullah Al-Balushi, Commander of the Infantry Brigade ( 11).

The researcher Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al-Shehri, Advisor for Hajj Affairs at the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, delivered a lecture on the anniversary of this great occasion, during which he touched on the importance of this occasion, its impact and its place in the hearts of Muslims, and explained the events of the great victory that the Muslims achieved in this campaign, with deep faith. adherence to Islamic values.

The researcher referred to the most important challenges facing the Arab and Islamic nation, and the need to inculcate the correct Islamic identity and consolidate patriotism in the current and future generations, in addition to the importance of societal peace and security in the emergence and building of nations.

The event was attended by a number of senior officers, officers, non-commissioned officers and individuals from the Ministry of Defense, the Sultan’s Armed Forces, and the Royal Oman Police.
